General Design Concept

The client’s brief was to create a new hard landscaping layout within their rear garden to accommodate their growing needs.

The layout was changed and paving areas increased using a natural Jura Beige Limestone paving with pockets of colourful planting to soften the boundary between house and paving and define walkways.  The colour palette of the tulips replicated the colours of the chosen Manutti throw cushions.

The existing raised planting areas were removed to create a new seating area using luxurious Manutti furniture and specially commissioned water feature wall and fire pit from David Harber.

Corten steel screening was used along the boundary with climbing evergreen Jasmine covering this and the gable wall of the house to create a green tapestry of fragrance during the summer months.

Phase 2 of the project was to address a 32 metre long planting border along the driveway entrance creating all round planting interest and repetition of plants, form and texture.
